Cereals: Education or Training: How Do You Look at It?

CFW Columnist Richard F. Stier looks at how to promote and ensure safety within product development. According to Stier, the first step toward developing and implementing a training program to make sure the workforce is properly educated or trained to properly carry out the many different tasks required to properly operate a food processing facility is management support. Moreover, training and education is the foundation for good quality, safety, and sanitation operations.
